“Proverbs about work and professions”

The Russian people are very hardworking and observant; they have come up with many proverbs and sayings.
It is not for nothing that it is said:
The master's work is afraid.
Labor feeds us, laziness only spoils us,
Laziness, she is the mother of all vices!..
It’s not for nothing that among our people
There are many proverbs about work.

In them the people fought against laziness,
Because he was persistent in his work.
If we take the word “skill”,
Without a doubt
“Mind” is the root of it!

If the work is going smoothly,
The work is underway soon.
It is not for nothing that it is said:

A bird grows stronger in flight, and a man grows stronger in work.
He who loves to work cannot sit idle.

Man created it through labor.
This is about those who create,
Builds, teaches or sings,
We'll talk now.
Teacher: - Already now, each of you guys needs to think about what type of work you want to master. Are any of you ready now to say what you would like to become in the future?
1. I will be a tractor driver. There is a reason for this:
For a long time, my dream has been to drive a car.
The wind sings cheerfully, walks in the field...
The older brother drives the tractor; he learned it at school.
I love the tractor very much, I know all the details
If I need help, I understand the matter.

2.Mom often tells me,
What's wrong with me -
It's in all my pockets
Tools and spare parts:
Two screws, four nuts,
Three strings from a balalaika,
Scooter wheel,
What I begged from my brother
Battery, gear,
Someone's old oil can,
Someone's broken pliers
And other things too.
Because I'm a man -
I can't live without technology!
All cars are for a man
Real friends!

3.Give me a needle, sister, I want to learn how to sew.
Grandma will have a robe, dad will have trousers, and mom will have a dress.
And my mother will quietly say to me: “Grow up quickly, dressmaker.”
Teacher: - Have you heard about such fashion designers Vyacheslav Zaitsev, Valentin Yudashkin? They create beautiful clothes. Before sewing a dress or suit, it must be created, i.e. come up with (presentation).
4. Today I am a fireman,
Serious and brave.
At the dacha I grabbed a water hose
And the smoldering fire was doused.
In no time I managed to put out the fire,
But I didn’t think about one thing:

There comes a time in every person’s life when they have to decide where to continue their education or where to go to work, i.e. practically choose a profession, your life path. But for now, third-graders are far from reaching this important moment. They still have a lot to discover and learn in the world of professions. And acquaintance with this topic must begin as early as possible, so that at an older age, students can make a conscious choice, make a responsible decision in choosing a particular professional activity.

Expected results:

Expanding knowledge about professions, the ability to distinguish professions, enriching students’ vocabulary, respectful attitude towards working people

Progress of the lesson:

Introduction:

Hello guys! Our lesson is called “Journey into the world of professions.” One person cannot cope with everything to live. Therefore, since ancient times, a diverse world of professions has appeared. People passed on knowledge from generation to generation.

Teacher: What is a profession?

Children: The work a person does.

Profession means a type of work activity that requires certain training and is a source of livelihood. And maybe during this class hour, you won’t be able to say exactly what you would like to become after graduating from school, but it will help you navigate the choice of your future profession. I really want you to think about different professions, about what people must do and know in order to learn a certain profession. I hope for your active participation, curiosity, initiative, ingenuity, and ingenuity.

2. Work in fours

Crossword "Professions"

And to remember different professions, I suggest you solve a crossword puzzle.

There is an envelope on your table. Please take out the crossword puzzle from it. Your task is to correctly solve the crossword puzzle, from which you will learn what professions there are (photographer, fireman, doctor, cook, driver, teacher, painter)

3. Game “Test your knowledge of professions.”

Before choosing where and what profession to study, you need to know as many professions as possible. Students are asked to check how many professions they know for the letter of the alphabet with which their last name begins (geologist, dentist, engineer, astronaut, pilot, porter, hairdresser, radio operator, steelmaker, shepherd, coachman). The world of professions is diverse, but not all of them are needed, and those who master them benefit the people of their country.

4. Now we’ll check how well you know the proverbs about work. Each team is given the first parts of the proverbs. You need to find a continuation to them and connect them. (Students are given (proverbs) strips of paper on which the beginning of the proverbs is written. The continuation is written on the board. Students must attach the beginning of the proverb so that they get a whole proverb).

He who loves work (people honor him).

The tree has strong roots, (man labors).

The sun paints the earth (and labor paints man).

What is the master - (such is the work).

It’s not speech that feeds (it’s hands)

Bitter work, (yet sweet bread).

Without difficulty (you can’t even pull a fish out of a pond).

If there was a hunt - (all work will work out).

Where there is desire, (there is skill).

The eyes are afraid (but the hands do).

Business - time, (fun - hour).

See the tree in its fruits, (man - in deeds).

The case (the master is afraid).

Who does not work shall not eat).

Any business can be done by someone who is not afraid of work; in order to become a good turner or businessman, certain personality qualities and value orientations are required. No matter who you become, any profession requires skill, patience, and perseverance.

5. Game “Guess the profession.”

The teacher suggests guessing them based on the description.

Teacher: Guess who's here

He will come to our stage!

His trunk is long

Spouts a river

Can be on any floor

He enters from outside

Where our guest worked,

Puddles remain

But that's all for

Very grateful!

I myself don’t understand something,

Children: Firefighter

Teacher: What I will ask now is

It's not difficult to guess.

Who are we all in one person?

Sculptor and artist?

People, hats in front of whom

Are they happy to film?

Who has it in one hand

Two knives sparkle -

Over someone else's head

Hovering like birds

You all know him

Children: Hairdresser

Teacher: Try to guess

Who is stricter than anyone in the world?

Can I give my honor?

He can’t lose it!

He is always armed

Just not dangerous

Even cats and crows

I agree to defend.

On targets every year

He shoots at the shooting range

And he will restore order

And in someone else's apartment.

For anyone he is one of us

Could be an example!

Children: Policeman.

Teacher: And now come to us

A special guest will come out,

From everything I did myself

He's taking samples.

Everyone's craft

At least a little bit owns it,

Only the way he can

Hardly anyone can

No lotions or perfumes

Smells very tasty

Clean hands ready

Wash from morning to night!

He knows how to distinguish

Third from second.

Just guess who he is

These are kids,…

Children: Cook

6. Game "Fourth wheel"

We have cards with pictures of tools that people of a certain profession use. One of the tools does not apply to this profession.

Define it:

Scissors, scales, mirror, comb.

Primer, pointer, saucepan, globe.

Saw, pills, thermometer, syringe.

Sewing machine, centimeter, ruler, needle.

Frying pan, knife, ladle, rake.

Teacher: Well done, guys! We completed all the tasks. There are many professions in the world, and each is good in its own way. At the end of our class hour, children will read the poem by J. Radare “What crafts smell like”

Everyone has something to do

The smell is special.

The bakery smells

Dough and baking.

Past the carpentry shop, -

Smells like shavings

And a fresh board.

The painter smells

Turpentine and paint

Smells like a glazier

Window putty.

Driver's jacket

Smells like gasoline

Worker's Blouse –

Machine oil.

Smells like a pastry chef

Nutmeg.

Doctor in a robe -

A pleasant medicine.

loose earth,

Field and meadow

Smells like a peasant

Walking behind the plow

Fish and sea

Smells like a fisherman

Only idleness

Doesn't smell at all

No matter how much you smell

Rich loafer, -

Very unimportant

It smells, guys!

During our lesson we recalled many existing professions. We will continue to work on career guidance, since choosing a profession in the future is an important step for every person. And, starting from school, you should know and be able to navigate the world of different professions. It's hard to choose who to be, it's not easy for you, friends!

And there is still so far to swim to the finish line. So accept my personal wishes that your knowledge be only excellent. And remember everything in conclusion: You can’t even catch a fish from a pond without labor and patience.

But always - and as it once was, I want to wish you guys... That you grow into a man.
