Scenarios for Easter. Martha of Little Faith (script for an Easter play for a Sunday school production with the participation of a younger group) Children's script for a theater production for Easter

Christ is Risen! - the sun is playing,
Christ is Risen! - the leaves rustle,
Christ is Risen! - exclaims loudly
From the pulpit, Father, sacred words.
They contain the joy of life, the denial of death,
Our hope, faith and love,
In them is the united voice of the Orthodox Church,
And it sounds all over Russia again.
Christ is Risen! - Happy Easter,
Christ is Risen! - the heart sings a song,
Christ is Risen! - even children know:
Christ is Risen and calls us to the Kingdom of God!

EASTER TROPARION

Joy from earth to heaven:
He is risen! Truly risen!
He has risen... And this is the Resurrection
Grants us eternal salvation!

At dawn this morning Jesus rose again
Glorify, children, the Lord of heaven!
There is no Christ in the tomb, the seal is broken,
And the birds chirp - how can we remain silent?!
The conqueror of death brought us joy.
Praise God, children, Jesus Christ is alive!

EASTER STICHERA

MASHA
Where are you going?

NASTYA
We are going to church for Easter service!

IVAN
And did you feel like jostling around churches on Sunday?

SEMYON
So, after all, Sunday is called Sunday because the Savior was resurrected on this day. Easter is the biggest event, the great Resurrection. If you don’t go to church on this day, it means you’re missing out on the most important thing!

MASHA
Let's go too, Vanya, I like to light candles in the Church. Their lights are so warm and intimate. When I light a candle, I am always both happy and sad. I even sigh.

NASTYA
This is because the candle is a small sacrifice.

MASHA
What about the big sacrifice? When do they give a lot of money?

SEMYON
And the great sacrifice is the one that the Lord brought for all the sins of the world.

IVAN
And what did He bring?

SEMYON
Yourself. He died a painful death on the Cross.

He walked resignedly along the thorny road,
He joyfully met both death and shame;
The lips that spoke the teaching of strict truth,
They did not utter a reproach to the mocking crowd.

He walked resignedly and, crucified on the cross,
He bequeathed freedom and love to the peoples;
For this sinful world, covered in darkness,
His holy Blood was shed for his neighbor.

And again there are three crosses before my eyes...
Here is the execution and the cry of the crowd and executioners
And the Romans laugh and whips whistle
And the hands of the pierced Christ...

Those hands that recently healed
Who blessed the children
And they distributed bread to hungry people,
Today they were pierced and crucified.

"Calvary" Larisa Zuikova

IVAN
Is it worth being God if you get killed?

NASTYA
You are reasoning like a human being, and a person usually loves himself more than others.

SEMYON
Here you are, baptized. Wear crosses. What for?

MASHA
I have a gold cross, it’s beautiful.

IVAN
But my grandmother forces me. He says that without the cross I will completely get away with it.

SEMYON
And our Lord carried His cross across the whole city on his shoulders, and my Saint Simon helped him. And your holy John the Theologian and your holy Mary Magdalene stood at the Cross and mourned Christ.

MASHA
And what did your saint, Nastya, do?

NASTYA
My saint became famous later, but my name translated from Greek means “resurrected.”

IVAN
Perhaps you and I will go too.

MASHA
Just be sure to go around the temple with candles!

NASTYA
Of course, let's go! And in the morning, if you don’t fall asleep, watch the sun play and rejoice in the Resurrection!

The sun woke up early, its ray wanders across the meadow.
When we leave the temple, we kiss each other three times.

On Easter we remember the Lord’s commandment again:
Harmony, peace and affection, and love for our loved ones.

SCENE “KULICHIK”.

CHARACTERS: GRANDMOTHER, GRANDDAUGHTER, GRANDSON, ALL THREE IN SMART APRONS

GRANDMOTHER
Granddaughter, call your brother quickly,
Yes, roll up your sleeves higher -
We will make Easter cake.

GRANDDAUGHTER
If only he would come out!

GRANDSON
If only he would come out!

GRANDMOTHER
Anything - study, work
Is it a spiritual, external battle?
We, trusting in God's bounties,
What do we start with?

GRANDCHILDREN
Humble prayer!

GRANDMOTHER
That's right, guys! Let's ask God
Angelic help to our aid!
Our labors for the table of love.

TOGETHER
Lord our God, bless!

GRANDMOTHER
Although this white flour is pure,
Still, sift it through a sieve, granddaughter!

GRANDDAUGHTER
There are a lot of different impurities here, grandma,
Small lumps, specks hidden.

GRANDMOTHER
Confession to us from sins and temptations
Cleans thoughts like a good sieve.
A repentant sinner is dearer to God,
Let creation fall to the Creator.
Let us liken our heart to oil,
Covering everything with deep humility.

GRANDSON
Butter and eggs, raisins, cardamom -
We will generously put it in the cake without fear...

GRANDMOTHER
But he will never rise
If there is no good leaven in it!
Our thoughts are an empty chimera,
If love is not accompanied by faith.

GRANDDAUGHTER
The dough is made with intelligence and dexterity,

GRANDSON
Let's finish the job in a hot oven,

GRANDMOTHER
Here is our Easter cake on a festive platter -

TOGETHER
Happy Easter to you, good people!

(BOW.) THERE IS A RECORDING OF A BELL RINGING, WHICH IS REPLACED BY DISORDERLY BUT JOYFUL CHIMS OF BELLS

NASTYA
What is this?

MASHA
I'll bet whatever you want that it's Vanya calling!

NASTYA
I don’t understand anything, how did he get to the bell tower?

SEMYON
According to the old Russian custom, throughout the Easter week, any good Christian could go to the bell tower and ring the bells in honor of the great holiday.

MASHA
But he doesn’t know how.

SEMYON Your heart will tell you. Look how joyfully and loudly he comes out.

Christ is Risen! And singing flows like a rolling wave from the heavens.
The sorrowful unrest has disappeared... Holy night - Christ is Risen!
It’s still dark, but the ray of the east has gilded the dormant forest...
Streams of stream are flowing... Truly Christ is Risen!
Oh this wondrous phenomenon - the holy Miracle of miracles:
Hell has been destroyed by the Cross and the Light of Resurrection: Christ is Risen!
As soon as the preponderance of Light was achieved over the sinful darkness -
Once again a wave swept through: TRULY IS RISEN!

SONG “A MIRACLE ABOVE ALL MIRACLES!”

Tatiana Shubenkova

For Easter, we are preparing a fairy tale for young children. We will show it on Monday, May 6th. And today I offer you the script of this fairy tale.

Like this week

Easter will be a day of fun.

We will see off the post.

Celebrate Easter with Easter cake!

Who gives eggs to each other,

You can be happy all year long!

I wish you all happiness

and I invite you to a fairy tale!

Characters(bibabo dolls): Chicken, Rooster, Bunny, Fox.

Equipment: a basket with painted wooden eggs for the Chicken; phonogram of bells and the play “Sunday Morning”; Easter eggs for children.

It sounds calm. n. m. A Chicken appears on the screen with a basket of eggs.

Hen. Co-co-co, co-co-co!

The sun is shining high.

A bright holiday is coming,

All the people rejoice.

Easter is here!

And I tried too -

Painted testicles,

So beautiful

Prepared by Chicken

And she carried along the street.

Whomever I meet, I will give

I'll give everyone an egg.

Sun, shine brighter in the sky,

Light the road to the city!

Children perform SONG ABOUT THE SUN(optionally).

The hen goes to the right, the Rooster appears on the left side.

Rooster. Chicken, ku-ka-re-ku!

Answer the Rooster:

Where did you go alone?

And you didn’t call me?

Hen. I'm carrying a basket of eggs

Whomever I meet, I will give

I'll give everyone an egg.

Rooster. Come on, I'll help you

I'll carry your basket

After all, everyone knows: roosters -

Great helpers.

We keep order

We don't allow you to be lazy

And we'll wake everyone up in the morning,

Let’s just shout “Ku-ka-re-ku!”

Performed by r. n. p. "Cockerel"

The Cockerel and the Hen go to the right. The cockerel is carrying a basket. Suddenly the bush in front of them begins to move.

Hen: Oh, Petya, I’m afraid of something!

Rooster: Come on, honey, don’t be a coward!

After all, I am your protector, ko-ko!

Hen: Don't go far. (hides behind the Rooster)

A Bunny appears from the bushes.

Bunny. Sorry to scare you.

I was trembling in the bushes with fear.

You sang the song very loudly

And they scared the Bunny so much.

Rooster: Come on, gray, don't tremble.

You better dance merrily.

Today is a bright holiday - Easter.

Hen: Well, dance quickly, be kind!

Bunny: Well, okay, so be it, I’ll dance!

And you sing along, I ask!

The song “Bunny” by V. Karaseva is performed(at the end of the song the Bunny dances)

Bunny: Where did you go?

Is there really something to do on holiday?

Hen: I'm carrying a basket of eggs

For children, for bears and birds.

Whomever I meet, I will give

I'll give everyone an egg. (gives an egg to Bunny)

Bunny, here's an egg for you,

It's painted.

Bunny: What a beautiful egg!

Chicken, thank you!

It's okay, I'll go with you,

Can I help you carry the basket?

Hen: The road is more fun with three.

Let's go, dears, quickly.

The Rooster, Hen and Bunny leave. Lisa appears.

Fox: Everyone knows: foxes

Weave intrigues of the craftswoman.

The magpie gossip said,

That chicken is not far away.

And chicken offal

Even tastier than fish soup.

Now I'll tell you a secret.

(speaks in a whisper)

I'll catch a chicken for lunch.

Behind the screen you can hear cackling and a rooster crowing.

Fox: I’m sick, I’ll pretend to be unhappy

And I’ll wait for the chicken at the stump.

The fox lies down near the stump and groans. The Hen, the Rooster and the Bunny appear.

Fox: Oh, it hurts, it hurts! A-ah, a-ah!

I broke my back leg.

Hen: I'm running to your aid,

Now, Foxy, I’ll help!

Bunny: Don't, don't go, wait!

The fox is always angry.

I guess she pretended to be again.

If you approach her, they’ll grab you!

Rooster: Listen, chicken, he's right!

After all, Lisa has a terrible temper:

You'll only fall into her clutches,

And you won't go anywhere.

The fox groans.

Hen: But she's in pain! She's crying!

Sorry, I can’t do otherwise:

I'll bandage her paw.

You wait here, friends!

The chicken approaches the Fox. The fox jumps up and grabs her. The chicken breaks out.

Fox: Ha ha! Here comes my lunch!

There is no tastier chicken in the world!

Chicken: Oh, help, help!

Save me from the clutches of the Fox!

The Rooster and the Bunny are attacking the Fox.

Rooster: Ku-ka-re-ku! Ku-ka-re-ku!

I caught it with my spurs!

Bunny: Although I, Fox, am a coward,

But today I'm not afraid!

I'll knock with my paws,

I'll give you a pat on the back!

Rooster, Bunny: Watch out, Fox!

Get away from us into the forests!

The Fox lets go of the Chicken and steps aside.

Hen: What a shame! On Easter

We need to give everyone affection.

You have to be kind and gentle,

We must love everyone around us!

Fox: I beg your pardon!

Sorry, sly fox!

Hen: I forgive, so be it!

We must forget evil forever.

Fox: Well, thank you! I am so glad!

This is the best reward!

Don't drive me away.

I really want to help you.

Where did you go?

Is there really something to do on holiday?

Hen: I'm carrying a basket of eggs

For children, for bears and birds.

Whomever I meet, I will give

I will give everyone an egg (gives an egg to Fox)

Chanterelle, here's an egg for you.

It's painted.

Fox: Chicken, thank you!

What a beautiful egg!

I will go ahead of you.

I’ll bring them to the city to see the children!

The song “Easter” by M. Lazarev is performed.

Hen: Here are the Easter eggs!

Kids, get this!

And you, Bunny and Fox,

Petya, give it away!

Children are given colored eggs. The play "Sunday Morning" is playing.

Holidays are a celebration and a celebration of celebrations!. This great day comes to us with bright warm sun, soft willow, chirping birds, fragrant Easter cake and colored painted eggs. People greet each other with the words: Christ is Risen! - “Truly He is Risen!”
Today we invite everyone to a holiday called “Easter Joy”.
(Children enter the stage to the soundtrack of I. Haydn’s “Concerto for Piano and Orchestra”).
1st child - The gospel is buzzing everywhere,
People are pouring out of all the churches.
The dawn is already looking from the heavens!
Christ is risen! Christ is risen!
2nd child - The snow cover has already been removed from the fields,
And the rivers break from their shackles.
The nearby forest is already turning green.....
3rd child - The earth is waking up,
…. And the fields are dressed………
Spring is coming full of miracles......
Christ is risen! Christ is risen!
4 children - Larks are flying under the sun!
They sing: Christ is Risen!
All over the bushes the robins sing:
Christ is Risen!
6-children - Swallows cry in all the windows:
Christ is Risen!
Boys: All girls.....
Girls and boys…..
Together: Sing: Christ is Risen!
Presenter: And in response all the adults sing:
(a cheer from the audience is expected)
Guests: Christ is Risen!
Christ is Risen!
(The song “Easter Joy” (author unknown) performed by children is played)
(The curtain falls and a group of children appears on the stage with a beautiful basket in their hands containing paints, the girls have Easter greeting cards).
Boy 1: Look how many different eggs they gave me for the holiday!
(puts the basket down and examines the contents, places it on the table, saying:
These wooden painted ones were given to me by my grandmother, and
This is very beautiful - mom. I like it so much!
1st girl: - My grandmother gave me an old Easter gift
postcards and each has its own inscription:
-Christ is Risen!
-Christ's Sunday - fun for everyone!
Christ is Risen! Christ is Risen! - the angels from heaven rejoice!
2nd girl: My friend, you know everything, right?! Tell me why at all
Are there eggs on Easter cards?
1st girl: And in general, why do they paint eggs before Easter, and then
give them to each other as Easter gifts?
1st boy: I don’t know for sure, it’s just the way it is.
2nd girl: Nothing just happens. Someone must know the answer
to this question?!
(Mysterious music sounds, the children look at each other in surprise. And a beautiful Angel appears on the stage.) Angel: What kind of miracles happen on a holiday. Even the angels
can come down from heaven and speak to people.
Boy: Wow! Girls: What a miracle!
Angel: Congratulations on the Resurrection of Christ!
Christ is risen!
Children: Truly Risen!
Angel: Since ancient times, the egg has been considered a symbol of life. So,
A pebble-like egg may hatch into a living chick. Mother hen hatches an egg, warming it
with its warmth, and a miracle occurs in it - the birth
life.
(Mysterious music sounds again and the Angel disappears behind the screen. The children stand in bewilderment, they are amazed by what they saw and heard, and at this time a surprise moment is being prepared for the children and guests behind the screen.) (A few seconds later the Angel appears with a basket in his hands, he takes out a real egg comes out of it and says: Angel: Look, now a miracle will happen right before our eyes!
Because miracles do happen, you just have to believe. Let's do it together
Let's warm this egg with the warmth of our hands, the warmth of our hearts!
(Children carefully place their children's palms on the egg, as if warming it, and then the Angel carefully returns the egg to the basket, covers it with a soft napkin and after a few seconds………..Oh miracle! A real live chicken appears in the basket (there was a live chicken in advance planted in a basket with an egg secret from the children)
(Children and adults are delighted, each of them tries to touch the chicken with their hands, touch it, the hall comes to life)
Children turn
to the Angel: What a pity that glass, plastic, porcelain,
wooden and chocolate eggs cannot hatch
real chicken though they are so pretty!
Angel: Guys, it’s still customary to give such eggs as gifts.
Easter days, as a symbol of a real egg, sign
future life and resurrection!
Do you want to listen to a story about how with the words Christ
Risen, the very first red Easter gift was given
testicle?!
(The scenery changes on the stage and to the music of F. May “Aldila” the Angel continues his story: After Jesus Christ was Risen, His disciples dispersed throughout the world with the news of the miracle of the Resurrection. Among the other disciples of Christ was Mary Magdalene. So one day in the glorious Mary came to the city of Rome to the emperor. There were guards at the entrance to the palace, and noble guests with rich gifts hurried to the emperor's chambers, where he sat majestically on his throne.
(The angel leaves the stage, on which there is new scenery: Rome. Palace of Emperor Tiberius.) Act one
Guard: Emperor Tiberius, there is an overseas merchant there.
Tiberius: Let him in!
(Music by E. Grieg “March of the Dwarves” is played, there is a choreographic picture on the stage, which shows how a merchant brings a necklace of precious stones as a gift)
Merchant: Great emperor and ruler! Accept this as a gift
necklace: made of pearls, rubies and sapphires!
Tiberius: I will accept your gift. Go!
(The merchant bows and leaves)
Guard: Egyptian ambassador...
(Music by J. S. Bach “Trio Sonata No. 1 part 2” sounds, an ambassador enters with a tray of gold)
Egyptian Ambassador: Great King Tiberius! Accept this as a gift from us
gold is in abundance. Let gold strengthen the power
yours and strengthen the power of the state!
Tiberius: A worthy gift! I'll accept it!
(The ambassador bows and leaves)
Guard: Nobleman......
(The music of W.A. Mozart “Piano Concerto Part 1 in C major” is played by a nobleman) Nobleman: Emperor Tiberius, I brought a huge diamond
valuable and very rare properties. He is worthy to shine
wearing a royal crown.
Tiberius: And I will accept this gift, go in peace!
(The nobleman bows and leaves)
Act two
(Schubert's music "Ave Maria" sounds)
Tiberius: Who else is there?
Guard: We'll find out now.
(Mary Magdalene appears on stage and carefully holds something in her hands)
Guard: O woman, who are you? Did you know that everyone comes
to the emperor with gifts? What stones, jewelry
Or are you bringing fabrics to our ruler? Or maybe
what kind of treat?
Maria: Maria, I am from the city of Magdala. I used to be in the palace often
happened. Today I come with important news! Once upon a time
I was also rich and brought valuable gifts.
Today I am rich only in faith in the Savior and Lord
Christ!.What can I give today? Here's a gift - an egg,
symbol of eternal life, - Christ is Risen! (Mary shows the egg to the guard) (in the hand of the girl who plays the role of Mary Magdalene is a wooden egg, one half of which is painted white and the other red, she holds it with the white side out)
Guard: Well, your gift is small, but if the news is important,
come on...
Tiberius: Mary Magdalene? What do you want?!
Maria: Tiberius is the emperor! I came to tell you about a miracle
Sundays. Christ is risen!
Tiberius (surprised): How can someone be resurrected? Incredible
this is impossible! Only then will I believe in
Sunday, when this testicle turns red.
(Maria imperceptibly changes the white side of the testicle to red and opens her palms) Guard: Oh emperor, look, the testicle is turning pink, no, it’s getting darker…. ABOUT
miracle! It turned bright red!
(Tiberius cannot believe his eyes, he carefully picks up the red egg and shows everyone)
Tiberius: Truly Jesus Christ is risen! (addresses the audience:
Christ is risen!
Spectators: Truly Risen!
Act three
(The Easter troparion sounds, the Angel, historical characters and child heroes reappear)
Angel: This is where the custom of giving for Easter comes from
red eggs.
Hero Girl: It turns out how the first Easter gift was given
egg.
(A festive troparion performed by children sounds)
In conclusion, one of the children reads the poem “Praise to the Risen One” by K.R.
Praise the Lord from heaven
And sing constantly!
The world of His miracles is filled
And unspeakable glory.
Praise the Lord from heaven
Hills, cliffs, mountains.
Hosanna! The fear of death has disappeared
Our eyes brighten.
Praise the Lord from heaven
And praise, people.
Christ is risen! Christ is risen!
And trampled death forever!
Presenter: Dear children and adults! I would like to hope that the Easter joy, the warm and kind word of the priest, and the story that you saw today is the story of that. as with the words: Christ is Risen! - the very first Easter egg was presented - let all this remain in your dear children’s hearts for as long as possible.
Christ is Risen!!!
P.S. (And now allow me to introduce the young artists who played in our performance:
In the role of Angel - Polina Dardaryan;
In the role of Mary Magdalene - Ilona Pistrak;
In the role of Emperor Tiberius - Zhenya Chirkov;
In the role of a guard - ………..etc.
(Children really like this moment of presentation)
(Classical music used at the holiday has a positive and beneficial effect on children’s perception and promotes better understanding and conscious assimilation of what they see and hear)

The prince sits at the table with a bored look.

Kolyvan approaches. What are you missing, prince? Treat yourself to some gingerbread.

Prince. I don't want to spoil my appetite before lunch. I'm bored.

Kolyvan. If you don't want gingerbread, treat yourself to an egg. An egg for Christ's Day is expensive these days.

Prince. Are you going to sell me an egg from my chicken coop? And why is it red? I don't want that color!

Kolyvan. No, prince, that’s just what they say. So, eggs are always made red for Easter.

Prince. Who is doing? Why i do not know?

Kolyvan. Well I do not know. This is customary for Easter.

Prince. I did not accept such a decree. Who gave the orders?

Kolyvan. Yes, they said that even before you were born. If you want, let’s ask Yuliy, he’s in charge of our library.

Prince. Julius is resting at sea, but I sent him on vacation after Shamakhi, otherwise he suffered from fear.

Kolyvan. Then let's send the heroes, let them find out everything.

(announced over loudspeaker):

The heroes Dobrynya, Ilya, Alyosha are summoned to the prince. I repeat: the heroes Dobrynya, Ilya, Alyosha are summoned to the prince.

The heroes appear.

Alyosha. Why did the prince call?

Dobrynya. Did the adversaries attack?

Ilya. Have the dark forces prevailed?

Alyosha. Or did someone cast a spell again?

Prince. - No. This is a matter of national importance. Why do they make eggs red for Easter?

We do not know. (in chorus)

Prince.- If you don’t know, find out. Here is my princely command.

The prince and Kolyvan leave. And the heroes stand confused:

Alyosha. Where will we find out?

Dobrynya. We need to ask our wives. They are the smartest.

Ilya. They sing, they go on tour in the evening to Far Far Away. Let's go quickly.

Three high school girls appear on stage and sing the song “We Sat on the Golden Porch.”

Ilya. Alyonushka, Nastasyushka, Lyubava, help me out. The prince set the task. Why a red egg for Christ's Day?

Nastasya. We do not know. Here we need to think...

Alyona. Wait, my friend, Cinderella, maybe she knows, says Alyonushka, I wrote an article about her.

Dobrynya.- How will we find the way to her?

Lyubava. And we will give you a guiding ball, it will show you the way anywhere.

A ball is thrown, music sounds, the scenery changes. Cinderella appears and sings the song “At least Believe It.”

But yesterday I dreamed
It's like a prince came running after me,
On a silver horse.
And the dancers greeted us,
Drummer and trumpeter
48 conductors
And one gray-haired violinist.

At least believe it, at least check it,
It was a wonderful ball
And the artist on the cuff
He drew my portrait.
And the famous sage said,
That there is no one sweeter than me,
The composer sang songs to me,
And the poet composed poems.

At least believe it, at least check it,
So I danced a quadrille,
What are 13 gentlemen
We couldn't catch our breath.
And the orchestra was on fire,
And all the people laughed
Because on the piano
The king himself played the gavotte.

At least believe it, at least check it,
I was spinning like a top
And that's probably why
I lost my shoe.
And when my dream melted away,
Like night clouds
They stood on my window,
Two crystal slippers.

Alyosha. Hello, beautiful maiden, Cinderella. Alyonushka, your friend, sent us from Kyiv. We cannot answer the question: why is there a red egg for Christ’s Day?

Cinderella. Hmm, you're doing a difficult job. But I don't know the answer. Maybe my friends, the Bremen Town Musicians will help you?

Cinderella. They are currently on tour in Munich. But it takes a long time to ride horses, I’ll give you my official car now (the children’s car drives out).

The scenery is changing. Musicians come out and sing the song of the Bremen Town Musicians.

There is nothing better in the world
What to do with friends wandering around the world
Those who are friendly are not afraid of worries
Any roads are dear to us
Any roads are dear to us
La la la la la la

We will not forget our calling
We bring laughter and joy to people
The palaces offer us tempting vaults
Freedom will never be replaced
Freedom will never be replaced
La la la la la la
La la la la la la la la she she she she she
Our carpet is a flower meadow
Our walls are giant pine trees
Our roof is a blue sky

Our happiness is to live such a fate
La la la la la la

La la la la la la la la

Ilya. Brothers, tell me, the prince asked a question: why a red egg for Christ’s Day?

Troubadour. Well, prince, here you are. Even our king doesn’t know such questions, much less the answer. You need to contact the head of the World Library, Dunno. He became smart after he returned from the moon. Go to him.

The scenery changes, Dunno comes out and sings a song.

There are many unexplored countries

Some of it is true, and some of it is deception.

And nothing is known, but it’s still interesting.

Let's say there is ice and snow in the north,

There the blizzard does not subside for a whole year,

There on the drifting ice floes

You can see a penguin.

But unknown, but unknown

It seems like a lot of books have been written

But how dry and fresh.

How interesting, how interesting

Where they rose to the skies

Mountains and forest.

Somewhere in the jungle between the vines

A large baboon jumps along the branches,

Big peacocks walk

Hippos from the mud are watching.

Let's say there are sands and sands in the desert,

You might as well die of boredom.

And somewhere the oceans are seething

Distant, distant countries...

How interesting, how interesting,

But unknown, but unknown,

It seems like a lot of books have been written,

But how dry and fresh

How interesting, how interesting.

If only I could get to this place,

Where they rose to the skies

Mountains and forest.

Dobrynya. Hello, Dunno. They say you have become the smartest. Tell us the answer to the question.

Ilya. Why a red egg for Christ's Day?

Dunno. Brothers, I have never heard of this. This needs to be addressed to someone smarter.

Thumbelina may know. You need to contact her.

The scenery is changing. Thumbelina appears and sings a song.

The flower opened and she entered

I'm in this world now.

And the scent of a flower.

Chorus: Sings, sings, and breathes all around.

How bright is the light

It's warm and wonderful.

I will drink flower nectar,

I'll wash myself with their dew

And to the warm rays of the sun

I'll extend my hand.

Chorus.

I want to sing and dance

Flutter like a moth

Open up to everyone, find out everything

And joy and warmth.

Chorus.

Ilya. Dear beauty, tell me why there is a red egg for Christ’s Day?

Thumbelina. Well, I can give you the answer to this question. This is a parable. I'll tell you about it now.

At this time, in Kyiv.

Prince. Moses! Moses! Deaf, or what? Look, Julius sent me a letter from vacation.

Moses. This is not a letter, this is a video message.

Prince. What's there?

Moses. Signed, look how the seagulls dance over the sea wave.

Prince. Well, open it up, let's take a look.

Dance number "The Seagulls".

Moses. Beautiful. Maybe we’ll also go on vacation as soon as we find out why an egg for Christ’s Day is so expensive...

Prince. Boring.

Kolyvan. Maybe you can have lunch, prince?

Prince. Did the heroes call?

Kolyvan. No, sir, the pigeon mail only reported that they were last seen in Munich.

Prince. In Munich?! Did they, instead of the prince’s command, decide to rest? So I’ll show them when to return, I’ll send them to the farthest outpost.

Kolyvan. It's about time, it's long overdue. Maybe in lotto? One or two?

Prince. Are you back to your old ways again? (shows fist), look at me. Let's sing something better, or dance?

Kolyvan. - Yes, I don’t know how to sing, bright prince, and I don’t know how to dance.

Prince. And who can?

Kolyvan. Who-who, wives of heroes. They are our stars. They are going on tour in the evening. Let me call you before we leave?

Prince. Well, come on, at least somehow the time will pass faster.

The wives of the heroes come out and sing the song “There was a birch tree in the field.”

The heroes appear.

Prince. Well, they finally showed up. Have you rested? Have you sunbathed? “But they carried out the prince’s decree,” the Prince asks displeasedly.

Alyosha. Done, prince. It was easier to defeat Tugarin than to find the answer to your question.

Prince. Well, tell me.

Alyosha. Before Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, He told His disciples to go into all the world and preach the Gospel - what He taught them. Mary Magdalene also went to preach Christ. She was the first to know that Jesus Christ had risen when early in the morning she came to the tomb of the Lord to anoint His wounded body with myrrh (fragrant oil). But she found a huge stone rolled away from the tomb, and the Angel who was there told her that Christ had risen!

Ilya. Having come to Rome with the preaching of the Gospel, Mary Magdalene appeared before Emperor Tiberius and, presenting him with an egg, as a symbol of immortality, said: “Christ is risen!” The emperor was surprised and said:

How can anyone rise from the dead! It's hard to believe. It's as hard as believing that this white egg will turn red!

And while he was still talking, the testicle began to change color: it turned pink, darkened and, finally, became bright red!

Dobrynya. Following the example of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Mary Magdalene, we now give each other red eggs for Easter, confessing two events: the life-giving death of the Lord and His glorious Resurrection.

At Easter, it is customary to give gifts, to “confess Christ”, and to congratulate on the holiday of the Resurrection of Christ.

The priest presents gifts to students in grades 1-4 and kindergarten.

High school students perform the song “Miracle.”

HOW TO RE-EDUCATE A QUEEN?

(Easter tale in Russian style)

Characters and performers:

    Princess Appolinaria

    Nurse

    Tsar

    Tsarevich Adrian

    Wise Peasant

    Prince overseas

    Storyteller
    The Princess's Amusements

SCENE 1

The princess sits on the throne, she is entertained by the courtiers - Russian song and dance. The princess claps her hands

QUEEN: Enough, enough! Tired of it!

(singing and dancing stops) Your songs are already ringing in my ears!

The courtiers move away from the throne, bowing their heads.

NURSE: Well, they tried their best for you, my dear.

QUEEN: They'd better come up with something new.

STORYTELLER: Do you want, princess, to tell you a fairy tale?

QUEEN: I'll listen, so be it.

The storyteller sits down at the throne and begins the story, the others put on faces.

STORYTELLER: In the distant kingdom, in the thirtieth state, there lived an old king.

One of the courtiers comes out limping.

QUEEN: I don't want a king, let him be a prince.

STORYTELLER : Well, have it your way... Once upon a time there lived a young prince

One of the courtiers comes out skipping.

QUEEN: And I don’t want a prince, let her be a princess.

STORYTELLER: (with some irritation) There lived a princess.(they portray a princess, someone is carrying her a train from behind) And she was of indescribable beauty. (the courtiers gasp and bow) Suitors came to her in crowds, and they were all refused. But then one day a prince of an unknown country appeared - smart, beautiful.

QUEEN: I don't want a handsome man

STORYTELLER : He was ugly, hunchbacked...

The person portraying the prince approaches the throne and knocks with a stick at the feet of the princess. The princess jumps up.

QUEEN: Why are you trying to scare me? What if I dream about this freak in a dream?

NURSE: But you, my dear, asked for it yourself...

QUEEN: And are you still going to argue with me?(hysterical) Get everyone out of here! Tired of it! Look, I said it!

The courtiers run away, leaving only the nanny. The princess angrily throws after them the train and cap left behind.

SCENE 2

The king enters, the train and cap fall into him.

TSAR: There's no way you're fighting! Where are the guns, horses, officers?

NURSE : Well, sir, that’s not at all the case.

TSAREVNA : Yes, this is the nanny. She kept screaming and shaking her head.

TSAR: Well, what next?

QUEEN: I told her that your scarf will fly off.

NURSE : So it flew off.

TSAR: And straight to the door?(comes closer) Well, okay, I don’t have time to deal with your riddles here. An overseas prince came to us - he’s already heading here, he wants to ask for your hand.

QUEEN: Ask for your hand again! Every day the same thing, the same thing! Bored, tired! I don't need any prince!

NURSE: So you haven’t seen him yet, my dear.

QUEEN: Yes they are all the same.

TSAR: I'm warning you for the last time. If you refuse this too, I will take action!

NURSE: (scared) What measures are these, sir?

TSAR: What, what... Pedagogical!

SCENE 3

NURSE: Oh, you, don’t be angry, sir, but rather think about how to please your only child. After all, children need to be pampered, only then will they grow into real princesses.

TSAR: Yes, I would be glad to please her, but I can’t think of anything. After all, I need an heir, but she doesn’t want to get married.

NURSE: I heard, I, the Tsar - Father, in the kitchen they said that a new miracle had appeared in the Far Far Away Kingdom, the Thirtieth State. I forgot what it’s called, but it looks like an apple that rolls on a plate and, whatever you want, shows you about the suitors too. He will find whatever suitors you want for our princess.

TSAR: Are you talking about a computer or something, but it costs a lot of money, how much gold and silver you will have to pay for it.

NURSE: Oh, you, don’t be sorry, king - father, if you don’t have gold or silver in your chests.

TSAR: Is it really that gold and silver that I got so easily, how much I fought from a young age, how many nights I didn’t sleep, and how much my father worked and his father worked so that our state would become rich, and you say don’t be sorry.

NURSE: So, after all, you have only one child, and the future of our state depends on her.

TSAR: Well, okay, I persuaded her, I’ll buy my daughter a computer, maybe at least she’ll stop being bored.

SCENE 4

The scene is silent. Servants carry away the chests and then bring boxes containing the computer.

SCENE 5

SERVANT: Here, Tsar Sovereign, we brought you this overseas miracle, and with it a very smart man who knows everything about him and will teach our princess everything.

TSAR: Come in, good man, I’m glad to meet you, and in our language you know how to speak.

GUEST: But what about the king - father, I know many languages, with his help I learned everything(points to computer) .

TSAR: This means that he teaches all sorts of languages, but for me, for example, what benefit can there be from him?

GUEST: And for you, Tsar - Father, there will be a lot of benefits. For example, how did you send messages to your friends before?

TSAR: How? As usual: he put the messenger on a horse and handed him a letter, and he delivered it.

GUEST : Well, now you can fire both the messenger and the horse, and send the letter by e-mail, it will immediately come to your friend, if, of course, he also has a computer.

TSAR: Well then, teach me all this wisdom, I am a capable king.

GUEST: Please the king - father...(walks away and takes away the boxes) .

SCENE 6

NURSE: Well, is the king, father, happy, are you with your gift?

TSAR: Very satisfied. It's good that you persuaded me to buy it. Now my daughter doesn’t make troubles or be capricious. She sits at the computer all day, the teacher is very pleased with her, he says that she is very capable, my daughter takes after me, I was also very capable, but he only takes a lot of money from me.

NURSE: Don’t be sorry, Tsar - Father, it seems like the training is coming to an end. The princess says that she has already learned everything.

TSAR: If only it would benefit her.

SCENE 7

In a few weeks. The princess comes out uncombed and unwashed, casually dressed.

QUEEN: I really want to sleep, what time is it now? Nanny, nanny, come here, tell me that it’s morning or evening, I don’t understand something? I couldn't tear myself away from the computer.

NURSE: Oh, my child, it’s not like you didn’t go to bed, it’s already morning... Look in the mirror how pale you have become.

QUEEN: Oh, nanny, I don’t really want to look at myself in the mirror, it’s much more interesting to look at the computer, I’ll go get some sleep and go back to it.(leaves)

SCENE 8

The king enters.

TSAR: What is happening to my daughter, I don’t like her appearance.

NURSE: Oh, don’t even say king - father. Our princess doesn’t leave this damned computer at all, she doesn’t go out for walks in the garden, she doesn’t breathe air. The computer says the trees are more beautiful and their colors are better, and the computer says the birds, whatever ones you want sing, not just sparrows and tits.

TSAR: It’s not true, we have a lot of other birds. But what to do, the princess will completely wither away. I need to get her married soon, and I need an heir. They said that this computer could find any overseas groom. Why isn't she looking?

NURSE: Yes, it seems she has found it, the Tsar - Father, he should come soon, she invited him herself.

TSAR: It’s nice that she chose him herself, maybe we’ll have a wedding, God willing.

SCENE 9

TSAR: Nanny, call the princess quickly, her prince has arrived, whom she herself chose, let him come.

(the nanny leaves and returns with the princess)

QUEEN: Well, father, maybe I’ll like this prince, he didn’t even look bad on the computer.

SCENE 10

The throne is brought to the king and placed next to the throne of the princess. The herald announces: His Highness the Prince of Overseas Rashit-ibn-Suleiman al-Farukh with his retinue. Music. The overseas prince enters, bows and kneels on one knee in front of the throne.

PRINCE Z: Oh, beautiful Ap... Apolinnaria! I don’t know how to speak Russian, but I overcome all distances, I swim across the ocean...

QUEEN: How are you, but on the computer you looked completely different...

PRINCE Z : And you, princess, are even more beautiful than on the screen. Oh yeah! And I see that I am not mistaken!

QUEEN: You were wrong. You can swim back.

PRINCE Z : But I, I..

TSAREVNA : I am the last letter in the alphabet! Farewell!

TSAR: Daughter, come to your senses!

TSAREVNA : I won’t change my mind.

PRINCE Z : I didn't expect such a reception! This is a scandal!

TSAR: (leaves with the prince) Our apologies, our deepest apologies...

SCENE 11

QUEEN: I'm an unhappy nanny, I'm so unhappy!

NURSE : Why, baby?

TSAREVNA : Because he turned out to be completely different from what I imagined on the computer, and what a nasty voice he has, what should I do now, nanny.

NURSE : And look at these earrings and necklaces the overseas prince sent you as a gift - maybe you’ll have some fun.

QUEEN: (takes out the necklace and looks at it) I'm tired of your necklaces, wear them yourself!

The princess throws the necklace and runs away in the other direction.

SCENE 12

The king enters, the necklace flies towards him.

TSAR: What a miracle! No matter how I enter, something always flies towards me!(to the nanny) Where is the princess?

NURSE: Her Highness is angry...

TSAR: How dare she! It's not her, it's me who's angry!

Knock on the door: “May I come in?”

TSAR: (loud) Come in, who else is there?(under his breath) Ugliness! There are so many courtiers, and the king himself receives visitors. Slackers! I'll fire everyone!

Prince Adrian enters...

ADRIAN: There is no need, Your Majesty, to fire anyone. I'm just coming to you.

TSAR: Adrian, my boy! How you have grown, how matured!

ADRIAN : My father sent you greetings and gifts for Maslenitsa.

TSAR : Where have you been for the last few years, I haven’t seen you for a long time,

ADRIAN : I'll tell you a secret, just don't tell the princess. Three years ago some strange illness came over me. Everything seemed bad to me, I was in complete melancholy, I didn’t want to live, and one friend advised my father to give me up to be raised by a wise man who lived in a monastery, where I spent those three years , my illness was gone. And what I didn’t learn there is that no job, even the most menial, is scary.

TSAR : What a miracle, I’m so happy for you, who would raise my daughter like that, wait, wait, didn’t you come by chance to get married?

ADRIAN : To be honest, I wanted to, only later - after all, Maslenitsa is coming up, and then there is Lent - what kind of weddings are there?

TSAR: What if we hurry up?

ADRIAN: Does Polina really already agree? We haven’t seen her for so many years, since childhood.

TSAR: And no one will ask her consent.

NURSE : But how can that be, sir, you can’t force it...

ADRIAN: And, really, Your Majesty, I hoped that the princess herself...

TSAR: I shouldn't have hoped. Appolinaria refuses everyone indiscriminately, is always dissatisfied, and is rude. I really don’t know what’s happening to her.

NURSE: The doctor said she was depressed, or, as it is said in another way....Ah! Melancholy.

TSAR : She is spoiled, not melancholy! I promised to take action, and I will take it. Since she refuses all suitors, then let her marry the first person she meets.(whispers to Adrian) And the first person you meet will be you!

ADRIAN : But she might recognize me...

TSAR : Don't worry about it. Brother, I came up with this!

He hugs the prince by the shoulders and leads him away, whispering something.

NURSE: Their measures, you see, are pedagogical, but has anyone thought about the princess?

SCENE 13

The princess sits on the throne and nervously leafs through the book. Nearby, the king gazes intently at the door.

QUEEN: So what are we waiting for?

TSAR: The first person you meet.

QUEEN: Well, dad, please don't. It's cruel.

TSAR: It's nothing you can do. I gave my word, but the king's word(pause) harder than cracker.

QUEEN: What if he turns out to be some kind of freak?

TSAR: Nothing, for a man beauty is not the main thing.(Knock on the door) . Whoever it is, come in, everyone is welcome today.

Adrian enters, dressed as a poor peasant, with bast shoes on his feet and a knapsack over his shoulders.

ADRIAN: Hello, Father Tsar, they didn’t order execution, they ordered him to say a word.

TSAR: (rubbing his hands contentedly) I tell you, say it.

ADRIAN: My task, Father Tsar, is simple. There is a small plot of land next to my garden, but that means there is no owner. Only sedge and feather grass grow there. Is it possible for me, Father Tsar, to buy that land for myself, because I have decided to get married and need to expand the farm.

TSAR : Do you, Adri...what’s your name?

ADRIAN: Yes, they call him Andryukha.

TSAR: Do you, Andryukha, have a suitable bride?

ADRIAN: I haven't looked at it yet.

TSAR: Then I congratulate you, you can marry my daughter, (brings the princess closer) Princess Apolinnaria.

ADRIAN: (looking at the princess) Does she know how to work? I have a farm.

TSAREVNA : How dare you!

TSAR: (to the princess) Tsits!(to Adrian) He will learn.(puts the princess next to Adrian, joins their hands, the princess pulls her hand away) But we won’t delay the wedding, otherwise Lent is just around the corner.

The wedding march sounds.

SCENE 14

Village hut. The princess takes the broom, examines it, then the grip, then the pot.

QUEEN: (shaking off her dress and hands) Wow, how dirty and disgusting everything is, and there’s not even water to wash your hands with.

Adrian comes in and takes off his outerwear.

ADRIAN: Well, wifey, will you put dinner on the table or wait until the evening?

QUEEN: What to serve? There's not even water here.

ADRIAN: You can get water from an ice hole; the river is nearby.

QUEEN: Listen, would you bring something to eat, eh? I'm so hungry. I love, you know what?(with delight and hope)

Ukrainian borscht with lard and sour cream.

ADRIAN: What kind of lard and sour cream do you like, my dear, when Lent begins? Bake more bread and we will be full.

QUEEN: (indignantly) Bake your own bread?

ADRIAN: Well, of course, what's special here? And you also need to tidy up the hut - look, there are cobwebs all around, the floors haven’t been washed, the pots haven’t been cleaned.

QUEEN: You only know how to mock. I’m the Tsar’s daughter, I’m not supposed to do dirty work.

ADRIAN: Why is this dirty work - the most ordinary one. Just try it - you will be pleased that you did everything with your own hands.

QUEEN: But I don’t know how, I can’t.

ADRIAN: And you pray well, the Lord will help you. And in the evening, be ready, we’ll go to church with you - it’s Great Lent, after all, and fasting without prayer is like war without battle.

Adrian takes the tools, gets dressed and leaves.

SCENE 15

The princess returns with a yoke and full buckets. He sits down on a bench, exhausted.

QUEEN: Where did I end up? Not life, but some kind of hard labor. It’s also fasting. You will inevitably begin to regret that you were capricious a lot in the palace. But we have to somehow get out. So, bread.(walks around the hut in thought) Bread, bread - what is it made from?(takes out small bags from behind the stove) Sand is not the same, lime is not the same. Oh, Lord, help me!

ADRIAN (Behind the door) : I feel sorry for her. She's good, but she's too spoiled. So she asks the Lord to help her. Or maybe the Lord brought me to her to teach me reason. But she won’t accept any help from me, she’s too proud. Let me dress up as a poor wanderer, if she accepts the stranger with kindness, then he will repay her with kindness, teach her everything.(Adrian dresses up as a wanderer in front of the door and comes in) .

WANDERER: Hello hostess, I am a poor wanderer, I am coming from afar, do you have a piece of bread for me or at least a cracker?

QUEEN: Come in, good man, it’s not locked, but I haven’t baked bread yet, I haven’t had time, maybe you can rest a little, and in the meantime I’ll bake some bread.

WANDERER: I see you are a kind, hard-working girl, but I just don’t want to rest, let me help you bake bread, and so that you always have an assistant, I will give you one magic book for your kindness. Can you read?

TSAREVNA (to the side) : Thank God, at least they taught me this in the palace.(to the wanderer) I know a little, I hope I can figure it out.

WANDERER: Well, look, in the table of contents we find the word bread and a page, and everything is written on it, read it.

First, we take two pots of flour,

And we sow it through a sieve onto the table.

Then two pots of warmer water

And we dissolve a spoonful of yeast in it

Add salt and sugar one spoon at a time

Mix and let them sit for a little while.

Then add half of the flour

Let's knead the dough and you can rest.

When two or three hours have passed like this

Then your dough will be suitable.

Then from the flour we left behind

We will knead the dough for bread and pies

WANDERER: I got it?

TSAREVNA (to the side) : Who else could explain to me what flour is?(to the wanderer) Almost everyone, you lie down, lie down, and I’ll try to bake some bread.

WANDERER: Well, okay, I’ll lie down on the bench for a while(lies down and watches the princess all the time)

TSAREVNA : Or maybe the book is about flour, also with the letter “M”. Flour is a white or gray granular substance that is obtained by grinding wheat or rye. Oh, yes, I saw such a substance behind the stove in a bag, and I thought it was chalk. What a torment it is, what a useful book the wanderer gave me. It was God who helped me, because I prayed to him before the stranger came, I’ll pray again before baking bread.(He prays, then starts baking bread) Oh, how difficult it is to knead dough, especially when no one taught you how to do it.

WANDERER: Well, now I’ve rested a little, now I’ll help you cope with the dough, you need to knead it until it starts to stick to your hands. Now the dough is ready, cover it with a clean cloth and let it rest.

QUEEN: Yes, it takes too long to bake bread, I’m already dying of hunger.

WANDERER: And you, in order not to be bored, tidy up the hut for now, the time will fly by quickly.

If you take a broom in your hands,

You can sweep the floor with it,

You sweep everything into a corner,

and then you take the scoop.

You will take the rag in your hands

You will wipe away dust everywhere with it.

And then you suddenly notice

everything around became clean

QUEEN: And, really, how clean it became. Oh, the dough is already coming out of the pan, what should I do with it now?

WANDERER: Now we put it in a mold and put it in the oven and in about 30-40 minutes it will be ready, watch the clock so that it doesn’t burn.

(the princess puts a watch in front of her and sits down near the stove, and quietly falls asleep, the wanderer leaves and dresses up as Adrian, enters the door)

ADRIAN: Hey, wife, why are you sleeping in broad daylight, I’ve already come for dinner, what are you going to feed me?

QUEEN: And I baked bread for you, only it’s in the oven.

ADRIAN: Come on, get it quickly, because I really want it.

TSAREVNA (to the side) : Otherwise, I don’t even know how to get it out of the oven.

Adrian takes the grip and takes out the bread.

TSAREVNA (to the side) : Oh, that's why this flyer is needed!

ADRIAN: Did you really bake such beautiful bread yourself, cut it off and taste it, and how delicious it is.

The princess tries the bread.

QUEEN: You know Andryusha, I have never tasted such delicious bread in my life. But I wasn’t the only one who baked it, a wanderer helped me,

ADRIAN: Where is he?

QUEEN: How could it be that he left and did not receive any bread.

ADRIAN: Well, he probably needed to go somewhere urgently, probably he was afraid to be late for church service, maybe he’ll stop by on the way back, then you’ll thank him.

QUEEN: He also gave me a magic book, now I can cook everything for you.

ADRIAN: While Lent is going on, you don’t need to cook anything special, except bake potatoes in the oven, and there are pickles and cabbage in the cellar, I prepared them in the fall, but for Easter you will have to bake Easter cakes so that you can treat the Tsar’s father yourself break your fast.

SCENE 16

The princess eats bread, drinks kvass and reads a cookbook.

QUEEN: Sturgeon aspic with horseradish, tongue in white sauce with raisins, chicken baked in dough, but I haven’t eaten anything like that for a long time.

There's a knock on the door.

TSAREVNA : Come in!

The nanny enters, rushes to the princess and hugs her.

NURSE: My child, my sunshine!

QUEEN: Hello, nanny.

NURSE: Well, dear, aren’t you bored here, aren’t you sad?

TSAREVNA : Yes, there’s no time to be bored here, otherwise you’ll die of hunger.

NURSE: My poor thing, you have become so pale and thin. What's this on your table?

QUEEN: Help yourself, nanny. Here's kvass, here's bread, here's baked potatoes.

NURSE: Monsters! They want to completely kill you! Take some gifts for you from the palace, and I’ll run.(puts the basket on the table) I'm afraid that the king might not notice my absence.

Leaves.

SCENE 17

QUEEN: Post... And eat whatever you want, something tasty! It happened in the palace(closes eyes and imagines on palms as on plates) sterlet ear, swan offal, German puff pastry, Turkish halva... I wonder what the nanny brought me?(opens basket) Oh, these are my favorite sandwiches - with butter, cheese, and ham! Well, I’ll eat it quietly - Andryusha won’t even know.

He sits down at the table, takes a sandwich and opens his mouth wide. There's a knock on the door. The princess jumps up and hides the sandwiches.

QUEEN: (loud) Come in!

A wanderer enters.

WANDERER: Hello daughter, do you recognize me?

TSAREVNA : How can I not recognize you, because you helped me so much last time, but you never tasted the bread. Andryusha, my husband decided that you were probably in a hurry to get to work...

WANDERER: Your husband was right, you stand at work and don’t feel like eating, God gives you strength.

TSAREVNA : Sit down, grandpa, eat some potatoes and cucumbers and drink some kvass. I’ve now learned how to make kvass, everything according to your book.

WANDERER: Thank you dear, what is it with you, my eyes have become weak, but it smells like something delicious.

TSAREVNA (embarrassed) : Yes, my friend brought me all sorts of sandwiches, with ham and cheese.

WANDERER: That means she wanted to lead you into sin, well, God will be her judge, and you and I will give it all to the birds. Now they are hungry and cold, you can feed them

TSAREVNA : How well did you come up with this grandfather, now we’ll do it, only you sing.

WANDERER: Lent is already coming to an end, 40 days have flown by and tomorrow is Palm Sunday.

QUEEN: When my husband comes home from work, he and I will go to the forest to pick willow, and tomorrow morning to the temple. If you want, stay with us, you can go with us.

WANDERER: No, thank you, I still have a lot of things to do, I need to visit my friends, but I’ll come to you before Easter, help you bake Easter cakes, goodbye.

QUEEN: Well, I didn’t have to try the delicacies, and that’s good. There was some joy in my heart. Where? Whether because she helped the poor, or because the Lord delivered her from sin. And I'm not bored at all. And when Andryusha likes my cooking, it’s especially nice. Maybe you shouldn’t regret leaving the palace?

SCENE 18

A wanderer is visiting the Princess

WANDERER: Well, my daughter, the post went by unnoticed.

QUEEN: Unnoticed, grandfather, Easter is already tomorrow, and at first I thought that I would never wait, now I need to bake Easter cakes and paint eggs, did you promise to help me last time?

WANDERER : Of course I’ll help, since I promised, but you’ve already learned a lot yourself, take your book and get to work. I brought you all sorts of Easter cake supplies from the city, the kind people gave you eggs, raisins, almonds, butter, and everything else.

QUEEN: Thank you grandfather, I’ll read it now.

So that our Easter cake is richer, richer, and tastier

We will take a dozen eggs and beat them together with sugar.

Almonds, candied fruits, vanillin and butter one glass

We put it all into the dough and pour it all into the molds.

When it’s ready, we’ll put it in the oven and bake for about forty minutes,

When our Easter cake has cooled down, we will decorate it at the same hour

Fudge, marmalade, sprinkles, chocolate

And then, of course, it needs to be blessed in church.

WANDERER: Well, that's good. You already know what dough is, and then everything is in order.(start baking) .

SCENE 19

Adrian enters the king and bows from the waist and gives him an egg.

ADRIAN: Christ is Risen, Father King!

TSAR : Truly Risen, Adrian. Where is Appolinaria?

NURSE: Yes, you don’t have to answer, I know: she probably can’t get up from fatigue and hunger and is lying there(in a crying voice) The poor thing is in a hut, and it’s not a holiday for her.

ADRIAN: But that's not the case. She is now at the palace gates making Christ with the poor, handing out gifts to everyone, asking who has any need.

TSAR: Tell me, how is she still capricious?

ADRIAN: What are you talking about? As her idleness ceased, her whims disappeared as if by hand - she simply had no strength left. She actually turned out to be a kind and hardworking girl. It was her careless teachers in the palace who spoiled her, let’s not point fingers at them.

NURSE: So I felt sorry for her, my dear, and tried to protect her from all the troubles.

TSAR : So our plan worked, prince?

ADRIAN: It worked. You simply won’t recognize your daughter, but all because she asked God for help in everything, so it was easy for her to cope with everything.

SCENE 20

The princess enters

QUEEN: Christ is Risen, father, Christ is Risen, nanny.

ALL: Truly Risen.

TSAR : Daughter, how beautiful you have become, how rosy, and what a smile you have,

QUEEN: Here are some Easter cakes and eggs for you, Father, Andryusha and I consecrated them ourselves in the Church.

TSAR : Did you really bake this yourself?

TSAREVNA : Of course, myself, however, one wanderer I know helped me learn everything.

TSAR : What kind of wanderer is this?

TSAREVNA : I’ll explain it to you later, Father Tsar, but now you better try the Easter cake.

TSAR (try) : Yes, I have never eaten such delicious cakes in my entire life. Well, Andryusha, shall we tell the princess a secret?

ADRIAN : There is not one secret, but two: firstly, I am not Andryukha, but Tsarevich Adrian, and we have known each other since childhood, and secondly, I was also a wanderer, it was God who taught me to help you in this way.

QUEEN: So you and dad staged such a comedy for me?

TSAR: Daughter, don’t be offended, we wanted what was best.

QUEEN: Daddy, you have no idea how happy I feel. I now know three true remedies against despondency and melancholy.

NURSE: Which ones?

TSAREVNA : Fasting, prayer and work. You know, the wanderer, that is, Adrian, told me: you need to pray as if everything in your life depends only on God, and work as if everything depends only on you. And then the real Easter will always be in your heart.

ADRIAN: Wise words, but I didn’t come up with them, I was my mentor from the monastery.
